Shop management for archery pro shops

Run the shop
off the counter,
not off paper

Release Rack replaces the clipboard, the spreadsheet, and the sticky notes with one system — string orders, arrow builds, memberships, and a customer list that finally makes sense.

Release Rack didn't start as a product. It started because a real pro shop needed a better way to track who ordered what — which bow was in for a new string, whose arrows were cut to length and waiting on vanes, who'd already been called that their order was ready.

It's still the system that shop runs on every day. Now other shops can run on it too.

A dashboard that tells you what to do next

Not just a record of what happened. A running list of what needs attention today.

  • Four things, front and center
Orders that are ready but nobody's called yet, memberships expiring in the next 30 days, new orders that came in today, and unpaid balances — as soon as you log in, not buried in a filter.
  • One tap gets you there
Each of those four cards links straight to the filtered list behind it. No searching, no guessing which tab.

Work orders that speak archery

Not a generic ticket system with your fields bolted on.

  • String orders and arrow builds, built out properly
Buss cable length, main string length, whether the bow's in the shop right now. Vane quantity, offset, nock bushings, insert and outsert weights — the actual spec sheet a builder needs, in the order it prints.
  • Status that matches how a shop actually works
Not just "open" and "done." Every stage a real order actually passes through.
    Open→ In Progress→ Awaiting Parts→ Parts Received→ Ready for Pickup→ Completed
  • Misc & service work too
Not every job is a string or a build. Tunes, repairs, and one-off services get their own simple order type, with a checklist of common services already built in.

Every field a builder actually needs, laid out the way it prints.

Save a build without opening a ticket

For the customer who wants their exact setup on file — no order, no charge, just a record.

  • A build spec on its own
Record a full arrow build — shaft, vanes, points, nocks, everything — for future reference or a reorder down the line, entirely separate from creating a work order.
  • Reorder in one click
When that customer comes back, pull up their saved build and turn it straight into a new order — no re-typing a single spec.

Every saved build, searchable by name — reorder without retyping a single spec.

Receipts that hold up at the counter

Built for an actual thermal printer, not a PDF that looks fine on a screen.

  • Thermal or full-page, your choice
An 80mm thermal receipt for the counter printer, or a clean full-page version for email or a regular printer — same order, two formats.
  • Balance due, shown automatically
Took a deposit? The remaining balance prints right on the receipt — nobody has to do the subtraction by hand.
  • Scan to pull it back up
Every receipt has a QR code that jumps straight to that order in the app — useful for staff digging through a pile of tickets, or a customer who lost theirs.

A real printed receipt, QR code included — scan it to pull the order back up on any phone.

Built-in tools for the bench

The math a builder actually reaches for, without leaving the order.

  • FOC calculator
Balance point and arrow length in, front-of-center percentage out — for checking any build, on the spot.
  • Kinetic energy calculator
Arrow weight and chronograph speed in, kinetic energy out. No spreadsheet, no separate app.

Both calculators, right in the app — no separate spreadsheet to hunt down.

Memberships on your terms

Not four tiers we picked. The ones your shop actually sells.

  • Any tier, any price, any length
Name your own membership types and set the price and duration for each — a year, three months, whatever your shop offers. Change it anytime, and it doesn't touch memberships you've already sold.
  • Renewals that don't sneak up on you
A running view of who's active, who's expiring inside 30 days, and who's lapsed — so renewal conversations happen before the membership does, not after.
  • Bring your existing list
Import your current members from a spreadsheet in one pass. Membership types get matched to your tiers automatically, and anything that looks like a duplicate gets flagged before it saves — never silently double-entered.

One customer list, on its own

Nobody types it in twice. It builds itself.

  • Assembled automatically
Every work order and every membership links back to one customer record — built from what your shop already enters, not a separate list to keep up.
  • Catches the duplicate you didn't notice
A typo'd name, a changed phone number, an old spreadsheet import — flagged for review and merged with one click, never silently combined without you choosing to.
  • Find anyone in one box
Search a name, a phone number, or an order number and get every order, build, and membership that person has — in one place, from anywhere in the app.

Built for more than one register

Every shop is its own private space, with real accounts and a real paper trail.

  • Staff accounts, with actual permissions
Front-counter staff and shop admins get different levels of access — deleting a record, changing pricing, and managing other staff logins are admin-only, on purpose.
  • A complete history of who did what
Every status change, edit, and deletion is logged with who did it and when — searchable by staff member or by month.
  • Your shop's data is yours alone
Every shop on Release Rack is fully walled off from every other shop at the database level — not just hidden in the interface. Forgot your password? Reset it yourself, no waiting on anyone.

Your data, always yours
Export everything — orders, members, customers, builds — as one download, anytime, no exceptions.
Works on the shop floor
The same system on a front-counter tablet or phone as on the back-office desktop, no separate app to install.
Actually tested software
An automated test suite and live error monitoring behind the scenes — not a spreadsheet with a login screen bolted on.
Built by people who use it
Every feature here came from a real day at a real counter — not a feature-request board.
